Wilfrild J. Wilkinson CanadianWilfridJ.Wilkinsonheldpresidencyof RotaryInternationalfrom2007to2008,whenhe wascelebrating45yearsofintenseRotarianlife. Born in Trenton, Ontario's province, Wilfrid J. Wilkinson,feltattracted,inthedecadeof1960, by the Rotarian activity that could help him perform his ideals of contributing with the community,beyondhisprofessionalactivityinthe fieldofaccounting. Histheme“RotaryShares”expressesthebeliefin the Rotarian work relevance performed side by side with organizations focused on communities' development. A man connected to the importance of communication, Wilfrid J. WilkinsondefendedpublicexposureofRotaryas awaytodisclosepositivefactsresultingfromits members' activities, in opposition to the social woundsnormallyconveyedbythepress. Inthatcontext,hisvisittotheFoundationwasan opportunitytoshow,attheinternationalrange,a work which exalts Rotarians from São Paulo, inspiringsimilaractions,whichcanbeperformed byRotariansacrosstheentireworld. Willian B. Boyd NaturalfromNewZealand,WillianB.Boyd,who presidedRotaryInternationalfrom2006to2007, had“Leadtheway”ashismanagementmotto. Apracticalman,inclinedtoplanningandfondof reading, Bill Boyd dedicated himself, as a businessman,tothemagazinedistributionfield. He joined Rotary on the decade of 1970, holding several positions until he was led to become President. Focused,bothinthebusinessandRotarianlives, todiscovervariablesandpossibilitiesfoundinthe businessgame,Billalwayssurroundedhimselfby therightpeople,favoringteamwork.Hisworkin the area of literacy granted him respect and esteemofallhispeers. Manifesting his consideration for the Foundation’s work, Bill Boyd emphasized that, with its projects performed with excellence, the Foundation's maintained entities are setting education parameters for the community, a leadershipwhichstrengthensRotary'sroleinthe society.
