INTERNATIONAL ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE HIGHER EDUCATION IN FINLAND According to the last edition of Times Higher Education, finish universities are among the best ones in the world. The Fundação de Rotarianos de São Paulo and Colégio Rio Branco, in cooperation with the Center for International Mobility (Cimo), related to Ministry LEADERSHIP AND SCIENCE CAMP FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS Group of students carried out different activities in Harvard, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Boston College. The Colégio Rio Branco students participated in the pre-exchange program “Leadership and Science Camp for International Students”, from Boston Cambridge Institute. Students performed various activities such as nanotechnology and robotics classes, special classes on business and entrepreneurship, English and leadership activities, debates about politics and technology and worked on topics such as ethics, diversity, gender and the challenges of today’s world for young adults and for a positive leadership. In all activities, the groups were always conducted and coordinated by an American student from the universities involved, in order to enhance the conversation in English and also promote interaction between them. 36 Annual Report 2014 of Education of Finland, and the Finnish Embassy in Brazil, promoted the seminar “Faça o Ensino Superior na Finlândia” (Study Higher Education in Finland), providing important information for Brazilian students who can study for free in the European country universities. Finnish universities are among the best in the world, according to the latest edition of the Times Higher Education (THE), with undergraduation, graduation, master, and PhD courses in different areas. Higher education in Finland is accessible to everyone, including foreigners, especially by the quality of the courses. Guest lecturers were Raisa Ojala, Project Manager at the Finnish Embassy in Brazil, Heidi Hänninen, International Communications Manager of Cimo, and Lucas Machado, guest exchange student in Finland.
