Annual Report 2011 EVENTS AND CELEBRATIONS Students played an active role in the events and celebrations held at the school and were encouraged to develop activities to express values, knowledge and creativity. The school opened its doors to the community, taking part in public cultural and educational events. World Aids Day Students from the Centro Profissionalizante Rio Branco and from the 8th grade of the Rio Branco Elementary School - Higienópolis Unit, participated in the World Aids Day activities, including lectures, skits and videos that dealt with several issues of this disease and manners to prevent it. Experts on the subject clarified the students’ doubts on protection and treatment.
