International Family Day On the International Family Day, approved by the United Nations (UN), parents, children and teachers participated in several activities characterized by celebrating through leisure. Saturday morning was cheered by gym classes, dance performances, playing in the woods, making kites and then flying them with parents. A total amount of 150kg of non-perishable food items were donated to Sister Clara Fraternity, enhancing the Students and relatives carry out activities together meaning of the party. Labor Day Labor Day was celebrated at the escola para crianças surdas rio branco, with a lecture delivered by the web designer Rodrigo Sarita, a deaf professional that works for the National Federation of Education and Integration of the Deaf (FENEIS) website. Rodrigo Sarita mentioned his academic and professional background and showed some of his works with advertising and Internet, making students curious about this kind of activity. June Festivities June Festivities gathered students, family, teachers and guests of the escola para crianças surdas rio branco and colégio rio branco – Granja Vianna unit. The joint participation of hearing and deaf students in dances and games, integrating both schools, was the highlight of the party. In Granja Vianna, the Escola para Crianças Surdas Rio Branco also participated in the party Sports Events In September, the escola para crianças surdas rio branco participated in two sports events, showing the energy, team spirit and enthusiasm of its students. The participation in the 5th Sports and Cultural Festival of Deaf Students, promoted by São Paulo municipality, competing in athletics, athletics for impaired people, and dodge ball, was important for the meeting with the deaf community, the opportunity to show and develop potentials, strengthening the work carried out by the school.
