121 Presentation Feeling proud of all we have built and ratifying our future vision, we present in this book the history of the first 70 years of the Fundação de Rotarianos de São Paulo. It is a rich path, in which we recognize values and principles that remain all over the years and will keep on distinguishing the institution, since they are incorporated to its activities and the philosophy under which they are done. It should be stressed that this winning history has as its protagonists the founders, the presidents of the Board of Directors, the members of the Councils and Committees, the Rotarians, that is to say, all those people who, voluntarily, contributed to our development and keep on doing that. The same role is played by the collaborators of the Fundação, of both yesterday and today. It is, therefore, a great number of people to whom we owe the prominent position we have in the educational scenario and the reputation we achieved. The ideas and the ideals reported in this book are the basis on which we are shaping the Fundação de Rotarianos de São Paulo of the future. The experience we accumulated in these seven decades certainly provides subsidies to follow the path we planned and we are pursuing. We know it is a long way, but, with the strength, the commitment and the talent of the people who take part in this great project, we will go on, building solutions and contributing to a better world. Together with our human capital, the knowledge we accumulated and the security brought by our values will be the key for us to overcome the challenges we will face. At the same time, they will allow us to increasingly affirm the Fundação as a reference in its activity area, renewing it, uninterruptedly, to keep on being successful in a constantly changing environment.
