RIO BRANCO NEGOTIATION UNIVERSITY MODEL 68 Annual Report 2014 UNO SIGNED PARTNERSHIP WITH RBMUN The course of International Relations of Faculdades Integradas Rio Branco is the only partner in Brazil of the United Nations. Diplomatic simulations of the RBMUN - Rio Branco Negotiation University Model and its resolutions will collaborate on the development of the Post-2015 Development Agenda, which aims to create measures to strengthen young adults around the world. The partnership offers a single collective financing platform with all parties interested in working with the youth development, so that they can express their views and help identify specific targets and indicators for young empowerment. Five areas were selected as the main priorities by the young adults - Education, Employment and Entrepreneurship, Health, Governance, Peace and Stability. The collective financing platform In 2014, the Faculdades Integradas Rio Branco were the stage for simulations of diplomatic environment and legal proceedings during the sixth and seventh edition of the RBMUN (Rio Branco Negotiation University Model). Students of International Relations and Law courses from different institutions took part, putting into practice concepts learned in the classroom. In the sixth edition, the participants held discussions in will be managed by the UNO and by young organizations and will allow instantaneous interaction among thousands of young adults around the world - complemented by several offline events. The Global Partnership for Youth program in the Post-2015 Development Agenda (GPY2015) promotes the active participation of young adults in the consolidation, implementation and evolution of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). These objectives are an effort to summarize international agreements reached at various world summits to improve humanity - such as eradicating extreme poverty and hunger, achieving universal primary education, reducing child mortality, among others. VI AND VII RBMUN The editions of the meeting brought together university students from several institutions. Alexandre Uehara, Gunther Rudzit, Angela Tsatlogiannis and FRB students four committees: Palestina (United Nations General Assembly - Sharing the Land of Palestine); United Nations Security Council - Gulf War ; simulated courtroom trial – Isabella Nardoni case; and the European International Council. In the seventh edition, each participant represented a country or an international organization, defending interests and initiatives. Throughout two days, they discussed on four themes: The Gaza Strip 2014 crisis; NATO vs. Soviet threat; International Law: Nuremberg Trials); National Law: Jury - The case of stab wounds).
