11TH PROFESSIONS JOURNEY Colégio Rio Branco supports students in choosing a path to their professional future. Annual Report 2014 41 In order to present the main professions and provide some sharing experience, the Colégio Rio Branco organized the 11th Professions Journey, in Lapa campus of Faculdades Integradas Rio Branco. Students of Elementary School 9th grade to High School 3rd grade took part in the event. Jonas Rinaldelli, Rio Branco former student and Itaú BBA Vice-president, delivered the opening lecture “Being focused: a tool for success - Impossible is nothing”. Majored in Business Administration at the London Metropolitan University, Jonas spoke about his career and the WRITTEN PRODUCTION: A NEW WORKING MODEL The program aims to stimulate and prepare students even more to written production. The Colégio Rio Branco started to adopt a new working model with written production, which is more focused, dynamic and intense, with High School 2nd and 3rd grades. In this new format, students should write a text, weekly, addressing relevant and current issues. Later, there is a one-to-one feedback when the corrected text is read by the student to identify the positives points and the necessary adjustments. This new format of Writing classes gives students an opportunity to increase practice as well as improve other aspects such as organization of ideas, reading comprehension skills and communication, in general. difficulties to achieve his dream, advising everyone to never give up on their goals. Besides the Workshops on Entrepreneurship in creative cities, Robotics and Music, the event had lectures on more than 50 professions.
