Marco Rossi, FRSP superintendent Annual Report 2014 21 CONGRESSES THE FOUNDATION PARTICIPATED IN THE GEDUC With the theme “High Performance & Great Results”, the congress enabled the participants to exchange information with different speakers. Fundação de Rotarianos de São Paulo attended the Geduc 2014 - Educational Management Brazilian Congress, and was represented by its superintendent, Marco Rossi, who chaired the master session Inspiration for change - Insights for results. In this session, the participants could attend different lectures given by prominent guest-speakers and panels on basic education and higher education with different guests. In this sense, Marco Rossi addressed the importance of rethinking education in and for the contemporary world as it involves new concepts, needs and challenges. According to him, educational institutions should be sensitive to innovations, and their speeches should be about developing skills and capabilities, having the student as the protagonist of their learning process and the impacts of globalization in the training of the individual. 15TH BRAZILIAN INSTITUTE CONGRESS OF CORPORATE GOVERNANCE The Foundation attends the congress on good management practices. The Fundação de Rotarianos de São Paulo Superintendent, Marco Rossi, moderated the session Practical Models of Governance in the 3rd Sector Entities, during the 15th Brazilian Institute Congress of Corporate Governance. The theme was “Corporate Governance that Creates Value: a Process in Evolutions”, and was held on October 13th and 14th. The session presented cases of the third sector organizations that are implementing the best practices of Governance. Marco Rossi spoke also about Education during the meeting, which was attended by Rachel Biderman, World Resources Institute Executive Director, and Ricardo Vacaro, from the Instituto Akatu Governing Council.
