Agreement with OAB The Faculdades Integradas Rio Branco and the OAB (Brazilian Bar Association) - São Paulo Section - signed an agreement, aiming at the development of the project ‘The Human Rights Go to Law Colleges’. Coordinated by the Center for Law Practices of the Colleges, the project aims at improving the technical and scientific knowledge regarding human rights. The agreement was welcomed by the president of OAB/SP, Luiz Flávio Borges D’Urso, who qualified the college years as a great opportunity to comprehend the dimension, Edmilson Bordon, Edman Altheman, Martin de Almeida Sampaio, Luis Flávio Borges D’Urso, Eduardo de Barros Pimentel, Pedro Napolitano and Marco Rossi eminently humanist, of the Law profession. Martim de Almeida Sampaio, president of the the union between the excellence of teaching of the Colleges and Commission on Human Rights, from OAB, expressed his joy for OAB’s ideals for the preservation of human rights. EVENTS Student Guide Fair The Faculdades Integradas Rio Branco welcomed to its booth, in the Student Guide Fair 2011, about five thousand students interested in the development of their professional careers through a higher education course. In the three days of the event, promoted by Editora Abril (Abril Publishing House), teachers gave lectures on the different graduation courses offered by the institution. A climbing wall and a rally simulator reflected the importance of effort and determination in order to efficiently respond to the challenges proposed by a quality higher education course. The College boot at the Student Guide Fair 4th Profession and Future About 800 High School students from several schools of São Paulo attended the 4th edition of the ‘Profession and Future’ event. The event gathered teachers of the Faculdades Integradas Rio Branco and guest professionals to talk to the youths about the different professions - their daily routine, skills required, opportunities in the job market and the several higher education courses available, talking to them about the aspects connected to the curriculum, duration, characteristics of the qualifications, as well as the proposal of the Faculdades Integradas Rio Branco.
